Sonia Conejo, Mayela Chaves' mother, was the one who created this current menu. "She is a lady who, without any professional restaurant experience, was able to share with us a series of dishes that have carried with them love and care for many years." Mayela tells us that her mother has left her great things in her kitchen.

     

     

    It is a tribute to our roots, a celebration of the diversity and richness of Costa Rican cuisine that goes back many years.

    Salsa Lizano since its beginnings in 1920 has become the sauce that cannot be missing on any Tico's table. Of course, it is not missing in Tiquicia either.. Over the years, foreigners have also loved it. In fact, it is so famous that you can find it on Amazon! Order today so that when you return home, you can remember all delicious moments you had in Tiquicia.

     

     

    Note: We highly recommend adding it to Christmas tamales to spice up an already delicious dish!

    Very good local place!! They gave us chicken alfredo, fish and homemade coconut ice cream. The chicken Alfredo was so creamy and delicious, the fish was so fresh, and the ice cream was amazing. The service and atmosphere were also wonderful. And the prices were great for a tourist town!

    I found this place through Google and it did not disappoint! The food was great! The service was perfect. Paola was a great host and easy to understand (English and Spanish). I would definitely recommend eating here in La Fortuna!

    Very tasty Costa Rican food and good cocktails. We can highly recommend the Surf & Turf, as well as the baked tilapia (fish) in seafood sauce with rice, enyucado and corn on the cob, as well as the coconut flan! The Dragon Fruit Margheritas were also very good, the waiter (Omar) was friendly and fast! ☺️
